Janice’s Notes

Yes, I have subscribed to yet another great tool and have started reading other blogs.  Wow, there is a lot out there, isn’t there?!  I found some good edublogs to help me think about how and why I should use new technological tools.  I look forward to learning more from 2 blogs called Always Learning and Techlearning.  They look very practical and helpful as I get started and hopefully advance in my use of various technology with my students.

I also added some blogs for fun and for my own interest.  I love hiking and have dreamed about doing a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.  So I added a blog about some hikers who are living out my dream so that I can realize it somewhat through their journey.  I will be following their progress along the trail over the next several weeks.

I have also adopted 2 of my fellow classmates for this summer course.  I chose Linda Byrd  and Robin Walters.  I look forward to checking out their blogs on a regular basis to see what I can learn from 2 ladies who are walking somewhat in my same shoes.  I know that will help me personally and in my classroom this year.
